George Ranch Historical Park

Be transported by timeless elegance for your small Wedding. Our vintage structures, storybook chapel, intimate tree-covered pathways, and green pastures provide a unique setting steeped in history and tradition. It is the perfect setting for your Ceremony, Reception, and Photos!

Established in 1824, The George Ranch Historical Park is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Brazos River. This living history museum is located on a 23,000 acres working ranch in Richmond, TX.

"For the Real Texan" Campfire Reception (Add-on)

Travel back to the Old West with our bestselling campfire package! Including a decorative chuck wagon, a crackling fire surrounded by hay bale seating, and a cowboy instructing guests on roping skills, this will be an event you will not soon forget! Shepard's hooks will be arranged, with mason jar lanterns providing a romantic atmosphere. Branding boards will provide a perfect souvenir for all who participate in the activity. A roller roper (a mechanical calf roping experience) and yard games, consisting of tug of war, corn hole, and horseshoes, are included. A complete BBQ meal will be provided or can be substituted for the cuisine of your choice. Gingham covered tables and seating will be set up for your comfort.

Living History Tour (2hrs) (Add-on) 

The George Ranch Historical Park is a “living history” museum, which authentically preserves and reenacts the four-generational storyline of a remarkable Texas family from frontier Texas to the World War II era.
